Copper sparkle wheels A 2-part coat system produced this dazzling copper sparkle finish to these M3 BMW wheels. First the existing coating was blasted from the wheel, this was followed by a primer under coat followed by the final 2 coats to produce this finish. Up Close of the smooth white gloss finish achieved on this angled bracket. This is part of a large batch of bracket which has been blasted followed by a primer under coat before the top coat was applied. We undertake single jobs to large batches. No job is too big or small!!

Large areas of flat surfaces are not the easiest to powder coat but with trained staff the right powder and up to date powder coating equipment they can be straight forward. The gate was initially shot blasted, followed by the application of a zinc rich primer. This was the finished with a grey gloss finish RAL Code 7016.

The type of under coat we use can be specified by you the customer, however a large percentage of the time we use a zinc rich primer because in recent salt spray tests the zinc rich powder outperformed zero zinc powders by almost 3 times. Powder coating thick gauge steel is straight forward although the process time is increased as the core of the steel takes longer to reach its optimum temperature. The diameter of the plates in the picture is 20mm. We can process work larger diameters than this. Please speak to our office for more information.

These well used roll bars arrived requiring a new powder coated finish, the existing coat was removed by shot blasting, before a corrosion resistant undercoat was applied. The final coat was gloss black Ral 9005.

The way we package our work can be tailored to the customers needs. Here our customer requires these aluminium doors to be sandwiched in layers of bubble wrap for transportation.

Recently a customer bought us this chest to see if it was possible for a powder coating makeover. After a light blasting to remove the rusting, the chest was ready for coating, a primer undercoat was first applied to prevent further corrosion followed by the “special” topcoat which is an antique copper, powder coated finish. The customer was amazed with the final finish.

Our customer required a powder coating upgrade on his mini moto bike frame. The original coating was first blasted off, this can be a timely job depending on how the frame was coated previously. Then a primer undercoat was added before the frame was finished in gloss black.

We are happy to take on all work from small items to maximum capacity for our ovens. Here the customers had brought to us some hanging brackets for powder coating in gloss black. The finish looks brilliant in the sunshine from this morning.

A piece of agricultural machinery after the primer coat has been applied. Even the most detailed of work can be powder coated.

Here are pair of agricultural machinery extending booms that have just been fully shot blasted. Next step is to the powder coating booth for its final surface preparation before it is powder coated.

A batch of galvanized flat panels, being coated. For this job the panels have been treated to a DE-greasing before the top coat is applied.

All of the powders used in our powder coating processes are non-toxic, non-volatile and completely safe, powder coating has no known short- or long-term health dangers.

This structural steel work was part of a job for a new department store in the midlands. The Heavy-duty beams were brought to us pre-galvanised. The beams required a very light blasting, enough to key the surface which helps the powder to bond. Next a primer undercoat was applied to provide a smooth surface for the top coat.

Recently these plates were bought to us, to try and help salvage a burnt down youth club shelter. This was straight forward, first they were blasted to remove any existing coatings; this was followed by a light sanding to remove any rough areas. Following this the top coat Green (RAL 6005 Gloss) was applied before the plates were baked into the oven.

We offer a wide range of powders in different colors, finishes and gloss levels. We carry an extensive stock of RAL and British Standard colors, however should you require a color which we do not stock, we can normally order 'specials' within 4-5 days.

Industrial Air receiver tanks from start to finish. Firstly, they undergo shot blasting, then their fork lifted to the spray booth for a final rub down to ensure the surface is as smooth as it can be for coating. The next stage, holes and surfaces that don’t want powder applying to them are masked and bunged. Now it is ready to apply the primer, followed by a light blue (Code BS 20 E 51 Gloss) top coat as per our customers specifications.

Here are the various stages that have taken place to fully finish this piece of heavy duty farm machinery. The process starts with shot blasting, after this certain holes and threads are masked followed by the zinc primer undercoat, once the undercoat is baked it is then time for the top coat to be applied.

A set of heavy duty swing gates being lifted onto the lorry for a site delivery. This job consisted of shot blasting, followed by a zinc rich primer and a top coat of Yellow Ral 1023.

A recent picture sent in from one of our customers of a bespoke clock he had just finished. Handmade from part of an aircraft wheel, shot blasted, primed and with a top coat of gloss white helped finish this brilliant piece.

Not all work requires shot blasting due to the nature of the substrate, this customer is using galvanized sheet metal which only requires the DE-greasing process before the powder is applied.
